The Zio 0.91 Inch OLED Display w/ 128×32 Resolution & Qwiic Connectivity features an impressive 128×32 pixels in a compact frame. Thats 4,000 tiny LEDs! Speed is not sacrificed, however, thanks to its I2C command structure. With this structure, your firmware only needs to send the desired changes, rather than transferring information for each pixel during each screen update.
As an OLED, this display provides the advantages of being able to emit light (unlike LCDs). This means it is thinner, consumes less power, and has higher contrast. With this size, it can display up to 3 lines of text.
The breakout board also has 4 mounting holes that can be snapped off and 2 Qwiic connectors for easy daisy chaining.
