The Waveshare Raspberry Pi Camera Module, Fisheye Lens is designed to enhance the capabilities of Raspberry Pi devices by providing a broader field of view through its fisheye lens. This module is compatible with all revisions of the Raspberry Pi, making it a versatile choice for various projects. It features a 5-megapixel OV5647 sensor, which ensures high-quality image capture and video recording.

The camera module is equipped with an adjustable focus distance, allowing users to fine-tune the clarity of their images. It supports a maximum resolution of 1080p for video recording, and its still picture resolution reaches up to 2592 1944 pixels. The fisheye lens offers a diagonal angle of view of 200 degrees, significantly wider than typical camera lenses, which usually provide around 72 degrees.

This module includes four screw holes for secure attachment and provides a 3.3V power output. It also supports the connection of a fill flash LED, enhancing its functionality in low-light conditions. The compact dimensions of 25mm x 24mm make it a suitable choice for projects with limited space.
