The Waveshare PoE HAT (F) for Raspberry Pi 5, High Power, Onboard Cooling Fan, w/ Heatsink, Supports 802.3af/at Network Standard is an advanced accessory designed to enhance the functionality of the Raspberry Pi 5. This device is compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at Power Over Ethernet standards, allowing for both network connectivity and power supply through a single Ethernet cable. This feature simplifies the setup and reduces the need for additional power sources.
Equipped with a fully isolated switched-mode power supply, the PoE HAT ensures efficient and stable power delivery. The onboard high-speed active cooling fan, coupled with a metal heatsink, provides superior heat dissipation, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the Raspberry Pi. The standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO header supports seamless integration with the Raspberry Pi 5, while the stackable header design allows for the connection of additional HATs.
This PoE HAT is capable of delivering a power output of up to 5V 4.5A through the GPIO header and 12V 2A through a 2P header, making it suitable for powering extra devices alongside the Raspberry Pi. The inclusion of a high-power buck chip further enhances its power management capabilities, ensuring stable operation under sufficient heat dissipation conditions.
