The Waveshare 7″ Capacitive Touch Display, DSI Interface, IPS Screen, 800480, 5-Point Touch (w/ Case) offers a sophisticated visual experience with its 7-inch IPS display panel, providing a resolution of 800480. The screen is designed to deliver excellent display performance with a wide viewing angle of 170 degrees, ensuring vivid colors and clear, bright images. The capacitive touch technology supports up to 5-point touch, enhancing user interaction and responsiveness.
This display is compatible with various systems, including Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, and WIN10 IoT, among others, and does not require additional drivers for these systems. It is particularly suitable for use with Raspberry Pi 4B, although it also supports other Raspberry Pi models and devices like VisionFive2 and Core3566. The touch panel is made of toughened glass with a hardness rating of up to 6H, ensuring durability and resistance to scratches.
