The Waveshare 7″ Capacitive Touch Display, DSI Interface, IPS Screen, 800480, 5-Point Touch offers a sophisticated visual experience with its high-quality IPS panel, providing a wide 170 viewing angle and vibrant color reproduction. This display is designed to deliver clear and bright images, enhancing the visual experience with more natural color transitions and detailed color representation. The capacitive touch technology supports up to five touch points, depending on the operating system, and features a toughened glass panel with up to 6H hardness for durability. The display’s brightness can be adjusted via software, allowing for customization according to user preferences.
This display is compatible with a range of devices and systems, including Raspberry Pi models and other platforms such as VisionFive2 and Core3566. It supports various operating systems like Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, and WIN10 IoT, offering driver-free operation for ease of use. The display can be used with or without an optional ABS enclosure, providing flexibility in its application. It is particularly suitable for Raspberry Pi 4B, given the connector layout compatibility with the optional case.
