The Waveshare 2D Codes Scanner Module (C), Supports High Accuracy Barcode Scanning, Barcode/QR Code Reader is a sophisticated scanning device designed for efficient and precise decoding of both 1D and 2D codes. This module is equipped with onboard USB and UART interfaces, allowing for seamless integration into various embedded systems or direct connection to computers. The scanner operates with a resolution of 640 480 and offers flexible scanning angles, including pitch and skew adjustments of 60 and a full 360 roll capability. It features multiple scanning modes, including sensing, continuous, and manual, to accommodate different operational needs.
The device is powered by a 5V supply and is designed to function efficiently within a temperature range of -20 to +60C, making it suitable for diverse environments. The light source comprises visible white and green lights for illumination and aiming, enhancing the scanning process.
Note: Some supported barcode formats are disabled by default and require scanning a ‘configuration code’ to enable them.
