The TouchBerry 7-inch Pi Panel PC w/ Raspberry Pi 4B (4GB) features a capacitive touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 in a 16:9 format, powered by an RTD2662 controller chip and offering a brightness of 900 nits. It is equipped with a quad-core Cortex ARM A72 CPU running at 1.5GHz and a Broadcom VideoCore VI GPU supporting OpenGL ES 3.0, MPEG-2, VC-1, and H.265/H.264 decoding capabilities. The device includes a variety of communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, and Ethernet with MODBUS compatibility, ensuring versatile connectivity options.
This industrial-grade panel PC operates reliably within a temperature range of 0to 40 C and can handle humidity levels between 10% and 90%. It boasts an array of interfaces, including Gigabit Ethernet, Serial TTL, and integrated wireless communication with dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and BLE. The system also features multiple input/output options, including digital and analog inputs, which are configurable by jumpers, as well as digital outputs.
The TouchBerry Panel PC is designed for industrial automation and is based on the GNU/Linux operating system, installed on an SD card. It offers remote control capabilities over Ethernet or WiFi, allowing users to manage control system parameters, data, and I/Os. The open protocols facilitate communication not only with other Industrial shield devices but also with third-party equipment and machinery. In complex systems, multiple TouchBerry PCs can be networked to provide comprehensive monitoring and control solutions for entire production plants, with real-time data readily accessible.
