The SystemBase sLAN/All PoE RS232/422/485 to Ethernet PoE Converter is a small Ethernet converter that provides both Ethernet wired communication and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for serial equipment. It is compliant with the IEEE 802.3 10/100 Base TX and IEEE 802.3af communication standards and is equipped with a serial DB9 connector, providing a simple gateway function to RS232/422/485 compliant equipment. The maximum communication speed is 921.6Kbps for serial and 100Mbps for Ethernet.
The SystemBase sLAN/All PoE RS232/422/485 to Ethernet PoE Converter also comes with a COM Port Redirector program that supports remote control, monitoring, and data communication of devices connected over the network (TCP/IP). This allows connected serial devices to be used immediately without any program modification.
