The Snapmaker Ray 40W Laser Engraver & Cutter w/ Air Assist is a standalone apparatus, equipped with Air Assist, and boasts a substantial work area measuring 400x 600 mm. This device is a testament to Snapmaker’s commitment to crafting high-quality laser products, as it incorporates their signature industrial-grade linear rails.

The Snapmaker Ray 40W is capable of cutting through 20mm Pinewood and 15mm Basswood Plywood in a single pass, and can support a work speed of up to 500 mm/s. The Air Assist Pump ensures cleaner cuts, and the Air Assist can be managed via Luban. The device is also pre-loaded with over 1000 design templates, which are compatible with LightBurn.

In addition to its engraving and cutting capabilities, the Snapmaker Ray 40W also features a built-in quick swap mechanism and a range of safety measures. These include a Laser Safety Shield, orientation detection, and overheat protection. The device is also compatible with a variety of additional modules, including the Enclosure for Snapmaker Ray, Air Purifier, 20W & 40W Laser Module, Rotary Module, and the forthcoming 2W Infrared Laser Module.
