The split-bed design allows the headstock attachment bed to be mounted directly onto a CNC router table, while the tailstock attachment bed can be positioned at a variable distance to accommodate different cue lengths. Both the headstock and tailstock beds are meticulously ground to the same thickness, ensuring alignment and precision during operation. The lathe includes a 2.5-inch, 3-jaw chuck on the headstock, providing a secure grip on the stock being turned.
