The Sherline Nickel-Teflon Coated CNC-Ready Rotary Table is an advanced modification of the standard 4-inch CNC-Ready Rotary Table, specifically designed to meet the demands of laser engraving professionals. This version features a larger through hole, allowing for the mounting of chucks, and is coated with a Nickel-Teflon plating. This coating provides a rust-resistant surface that is both hard and lubricated, making it ideal for use in everyday production environments.

The rotary table is constructed from solid bar stock steel, ensuring durability and precision. It measures 2 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter, with a total weight of seven pounds. The table’s surface is laser-engraved with sharp, precise lines every 5 degrees, which are numbered every 15 degrees. These engravings are meticulously calibrated with a 72-tooth worm gear, which can be operated manually via a handwheel or automatically with a stepper motor.

The handwheel is ingeniously divided into 50 parts, allowing each line on the handwheel to represent 1/10 of a degree. This precision enables the division of a circle into 3600 increments without the need for interpolation. Completing 72 revolutions of the handwheel results in one full rotation of the table.

Note: Ensure proper handling to avoid mechanical backlash exceeding 0.2 degrees.
