This controller is capable of executing two separate programs, each comprising up to 40 operations, where users can define parameters such as distance, direction, speed, and program pauses.
The controller supports connectivity through an 8-pin mini-DIN cable, enabling multiple units to be linked in a ‘daisy-chain’ configuration. This setup allows the units to communicate and operate in sequence, facilitating complex movements and tasks. Additionally, the linear controller can be integrated with existing CNC controllers, enhancing its utility in various machining applications.
For more advanced operations, the Sherline Linear Controller can be combined with Sherline’s rotary controller. This combination allows for the execution of both rotary and linear movements in sequence, making it suitable for tasks such as gear cutting.
