This design accommodates a NEMA #23 frame size stepper motor, enabling its integration as a fourth axis in CNC systems capable of driving a rotary axis. The reverse mount configuration is particularly advantageous for use on a tilting angle table, as it allows front access to the handwheel, unlike standard rotary tables where the handwheel is positioned at the back of the X-axis.
This rotary table is engineered to handle specific weight limitations, supporting up to 50 lbs in horizontal orientation and 30 lbs in vertical orientation. It also offers a vertical rotational torque capacity of 6 foot/lbs, which translates to the ability to lift a 6 lb weight when positioned 12 inches from the center of the table. The table can support greater weights when not subjected to continuous load conditions.
Note: CNC-ready machines require double-shaft stepper motors for manual operation. Additionally, reversing the worm housing results in a counter-clockwise rotation of the table when the handwheel or stepper motor is turned clockwise.
