This conversion process involves the precise drilling and tapping of several holes to securely attach the stepper motor mounts. The kit provides drill blocks that are affixed to the appropriate table or bed using an existing hole, facilitating the drilling of two new holes with the block serving as a guide. Once the holes are tapped, the new mount is installed, and for the mill column, a new leadscrew is also required.
