The Sherline CNC-Ready Mill Upgrade Kit for 2000, Axis Mill or Lathe Crosslide Motor Mount (“) enables the conversion of any existing Sherline vertical mill to a CNC-ready machine. This transformation involves the precise installation of stepper motor mounts, which requires drilling and tapping several holes. The kit provides drill blocks that are affixed to the appropriate table or bed using an existing hole, serving as a guide for drilling two additional holes. Once these holes are tapped, the new mount is securely installed. Additionally, the mill column necessitates the installation of a new leadscrew.
