This transformation involves the precise drilling and tapping of several holes to secure the stepper motor mounts. The kit provides drill blocks that are affixed to the appropriate table or bed using a pre-existing hole, facilitating the drilling of two additional holes with the block serving as a guide. Once these holes are tapped, the new mount can be installed effectively.
For the mill column, the installation of a new leadscrew is necessary. Comprehensive instructions accompany the kit to guide users through the conversion process.
