The ServoCity Standard Duty Worm Drive Gearbox (28:1 Ratio) is engineered for applications necessitating extremely slow and smooth rotational motion. Its worm-drive mechanism significantly reduces backlash and prevents back-driving, allowing positions to be maintained even without power. The gearbox features an 8mm REX stainless steel output shaft, supported by dual ball bearings, ensuring robust load support from any orientation. Constructed from acetal and aluminum, it offers a sturdy yet lightweight framework, easily mountable on flat surfaces via base mounting tabs. This gearbox is ideally suited for turntables, time-lapse systems, and other low-speed applications demanding high precision and torque.
