The ServoCity 5303 Series Saturn Planetary Gear Motor w/ Encoder (188:1, 100 rpm) features a 24V brushed DC motor coupled with a 36mm diameter planetary gearbox, delivering a no-load speed of 100 RPM at 24VDC. This motor is compatible with a wide range of goBILDA motion components due to its 8mm REX shaft and specially-designed gearbox head, which allows for direct attachment to various goBILDA components. The motor is equipped with two power wires that ensure plug-and-play compatibility with goBILDA motor controllers via 3.5mm bullet connectors. While the encoder is not necessary for standard operation, it can be utilized with a JST XH plug to enable position and velocity control, enhancing the motor’s functionality in diverse applications. Note: Stalling this motor may cause irreparable damage; exercise extreme caution in applications with hard limits, such as linear slides and rotating arms.
