The SenseCAP Solar Node P1 for Meshtastic w/o GPS & Battery is an economical solar-powered communications node designed for basic communication needs in areas lacking network coverage. This device is particularly suitable for budget-constrained scenarios or applications not requiring precise location data, such as environmental monitoring and short-range network setups. It supports transmission distances of 8 to 9 kilometers in open areas, making it an effective solution for expanding Mesh networks and enhancing network coverage.
Integrated with a 5W solar panel, the SenseCAP Solar Node P1 supports external batteries, ensuring its suitability for long-term outdoor use. The device comes pre-installed with Meshtastic firmware and is compatible with the Grove ecosystem, allowing for the seamless integration of sensors, such as temperature and humidity sensors, through plug-and-play functionality.
Note: Users must purchase and install a GPS module and four 18650 batteries separately, as these components are not included.
