The Pololu Mini MOSFET Slide Switch w/ Reverse Voltage Protection, SV is a compact module designed to replace bulky power switches. It utilizes a small slide switch to control a high-side power MOSFET, capable of delivering continuous currents up to approximately 4 A within a voltage range of 4.5 V to 40 V. The device features reverse-voltage protection and can be controlled by an external switch or a microcontroller’s digital output.
This switch maintains its state based on the physical control switch or a signal to the ‘ON’ pin, making it suitable for applications with intermittent power supply. It is compatible with solderless breadboards and perforated circuit boards, allowing for flexible integration into various electronic projects.
Note: Do not use this switch as an emergency cutoff or safety disconnect where failure to cut power could lead to injury or property damage.
