The Pololu Mini Maestro 24-Channel USB Servo Controller (Partial Kit) is a sophisticated device designed to enhance the performance of serial servo controllers. It supports configurable pulse rates from 1 to 333 Hz, allowing for maximum responsiveness. The controller can store up to approximately 3000 servo positions in its 8 KB internal script memory, enabling automatic playback without the need for an external microcontroller. Additionally, it can be daisy-chained with other Pololu controllers on a single serial line, facilitating complex setups.
A free configuration and control program is available for Windows and Linux, simplifying the process of configuring and testing the device over USB. This program also allows users to create sequences of servo movements and write scripts for complex actions. The partial kit version includes header pins that are not soldered, allowing for customized installations. A USB A to mini-B cable is required for connection to a computer.
