The Pimoroni LiPo SHIM for Pico provides a convenient method for powering a Raspberry Pi Pico using a LiPo/LiIon battery. The adapter allows for easy recharging of the battery through the Picos USB port.

Simply solder the compact square to the pins on the back of the Pico, connect a compatible lithium-ion/polymer battery, and enjoy a portable power solution.

The built-in charging circuit enables recharging of the attached battery via USB, with protection against over-discharge and overcurrent. A power button controls the SHIMs battery power supply, while two LED indicators display power provision and battery charging status.

Designed for a slim profile, the adapter can be used alongside other Pico add-ons and is compatible with various LiPo, LiIon, and high-capacity LiPo batteries. Note: Use this SHIM only with LiPo or LiIon batteries and ensure proper protection for projects involving LiPo batteries to prevent damage.
