The Opt Lasers Shapeoko Laser Upgrade Kit w/ PLH3D-XT-50, HP Air Nozzle, LaserDock is a high-performance laser engraving and cutting kit, reputed to be one of the finest single-laser-diode Shapeoko CNC laser kits globally. This kit is capable of engraving or cutting various materials with Ultra HD precision. Notably, it engraves wood and cotton at the speed limit of popular CNCs, approximately 150 mm/s. It also has the capacity to engrave with a 3 mm thick line in a single pass. This kit is more environmentally friendly than Fiber & CO2 lasers, as it operates with lower electricity consumption and CO2 emissions.

The kit comes with plug-and-play electronics for the Shapeoko CNC controller, a mechanical mount, and laser safety equipment. This allows for the easy setup of the XT-50 laser head on a CNC machine. The machined Aluminium housing and the robust fan significantly increase the XT-50 lasers lifespan, making it last considerably longer than other laser heads in the market.

The XT-50 is versatile and can be used for laser processing of almost all materials. For wood-based materials and cotton, it can laser engrave at the maximum speed of popular CNC machines. It is also more energy-efficient, consuming up to 16 times less electrical power than other types of laser solutions for laser processing commonly-available materials.

The kit also comes with professional accessories such as a nozzle for faster cutting and prevention of scorch marks, a docking station for protection from dust and contamination, a dedicated mounting for the Shapeoko CNC machine, professional level of eyewear safety, and a tool for quick working height set-up.
