The Kitronik Round USB RGB LED Lamp is a board designed for low-power lighting, such as mood lamps or accent lights. Its discreet size and circular design make it an ideal option for creative enclosure designs. The PCB measures 36mm in diameter and features a single M3 mounting hole in the center. The USB connector projects approximately 2mm from the end of the PCB, and the underside is flat for easy mounting.

The lamp includes five RGB LEDs, evenly spaced at 72-degree intervals around the center hole. Powered via the USB connector, the lamp is designed to meet the power requirements of a computer USB port (under 100mA), allowing for convenient use with a computer, laptop, or suitable power supply.

An onboard switch enables users to cycle through patterns and turn off the LEDs. A remote switch can be connected in parallel with the PCB switch for remote mounting within an enclosure. The remote switch should be momentary and normally open; using a non-momentary switch may result in unpredictable operation.

The five full-color RGB LEDs are controlled by a pre-programmed IC with four patterns, which can be selected by pressing the button. An additional off position is available after the fourth pattern.
