The Industrial RS485 Opto-Isolated Hub is engineered to fulfill the demands of large-scale RS485 systems operating in complex electromagnetic environments. It supports data transmission speeds up to 115.2Kbps and employs photoelectric isolation technology to safeguard against lightning surges, ensuring the safety and reliability of data communication. The hub features a built-in opto-isolator and a 600W surge protection circuit, providing an isolation voltage of 2500V to effectively suppress interference such as surges and electrostatic discharges.

This hub is capable of stable operation over transmission distances exceeding 1200 meters in RS485 mode. It includes a discrimination circuit that automatically detects data flow direction and switches the enable control circuit, addressing the issue of RS485 transmission and reception conversion delay. This makes it highly suitable for power acquisition systems and other applications requiring reliable data interface conversion.

The hub facilitates a star RS485 bus connection, with each port offering short-circuit and open-circuit protection. Users can enhance the RS485 bus structure, segment networks, and improve communication reliability. In the event of lightning strikes or equipment malfunctions, the hub isolates the faulty network segment, allowing other segments to function normally, thereby enhancing the reliability of the RS485 network and reducing maintenance time.
