The Brushless Servo Motor Upgrade Kit for AxiDraw (US with mount) is designed to enhance the performance and reliability of AxiDraw V3 and AxiDraw SE family machines. This kit replaces the standard pen-lift motor with a robust and swift brushless servo motor, significantly increasing the speed of pen lifting and lowering by up to 100%. The upgrade minimizes the need for frequent servo motor replacements, ensuring a more durable and efficient operation.
Included in the kit is a brushless servo motor equipped with a custom aluminum lift-arm featuring a rolling wheel, an upgraded power supply, and a power supply adapter that introduces a new motor power switch and improves cable management. Additionally, the kit comes with a spring set that allows the use of traditional ballpoint pens and other writing implements requiring substantial pressure. The upgraded pen-lift stage can be utilized with or without the spring kit, depending on the type of pen in use.
