The BlueRobotics Watertight Enclosure Tubes – 50 Mm (2″) Aluminum – 300 Mm (11.8″) – 950M are designed for use with watertight enclosures, available in various lengths and materials, including clear cast acrylic plastic and anodized 661-T6 aluminum. These second-generation tubes feature precision machined O-ring interfaces, a locking cord, and an anti-rotation mechanism, ensuring a reliable and consistent fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish enhances the sealing capability between the O-ring flange and the tube. Additionally, the ends of the tubes are machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion, which also serves as an anti-rotation feature to maintain the flanges orientation and prevent internal damage. Rated for depths up to 95 meters, these tubes represent a significant upgrade over their predecessors.
