The BlueRobotics Watertight Box – 134mm x 100mm x 74mm (1 Liter), 300M Depth is a versatile and robust solution for various subsea applications. Unlike traditional cylindrical pressure vessels, this rectangular box offers the convenience of easier mounting for PCBs and rectangular objects, eliminating the need for additional trays and providing a direct heat sinking path for hot electronics. Constructed from anodized 661-T6 aluminum, the box and its lid are designed to withstand high pressures and resist corrosion. The lid seals to the box with a radial O-ring and is secured using a plastic locking cord, allowing for quick and tool-free access.
The design includes threaded holes on the bottom for easy mounting to systems and internal threaded holes for securing hardware inside. Users can employ standoffs or custom trays to organize the contents. Pre-drilled M1 holes accommodate WetLink Penetrators and other compatible hardware, such as the Bar3 Pressure Sensor. A Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) is recommended for vacuum leak tests and automatic venting of excess pressure. The lid features a depression for labeling, ensuring clear identification of the boxs contents. Additionally, rubber feet are included, and the large box variant comes with handles for easier carrying and lid removal.
