The BlueRobotics 300 mm Watertight Acrylic Enclosure Tube (4-Inch) is made from cast acrylic plastic. This series of tubes represents a significant improvement over the previous generation of watertight enclosure tubes. The acrylic tube options are designed with precision-machined O-ring interfaces at each end, which guarantee a consistent and reliable fit with the sealing flange. The smooth surface finish of the tubes ensures an optimal seal between the O-ring flange and the tube itself.
Additionally, the ends of the tubes are machined to include a gland for a locking cord and a slot for cord insertion. This slot also serves as an anti-rotation feature, aligning with a feature on the flange to maintain a consistent orientation between the flange and the tube. This prevents any potential damage to the contents of the enclosure caused by the rotation of the flange.
Please note: It is important to avoid rotating the flange to prevent any potential damage to the contents of the enclosure.
