The Atlas Scientific 1/2″ Pre-Filter is designed to complement the Atlas Scientific 1/2″ flow meter, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy. This pre-filter is essential when water containing particulate matter is expected to pass through the flow meter. It effectively prevents debris from entering the flow meter, which could otherwise cause the paddle wheel blades to become jammed. While such blockages do not harm the flow meter, they impede the ability to obtain precise flow measurements until cleared.
