The AndyMark PicoBox Servo is a specialized gearbox designed for FIRST Tech Challenge teams, offering a versatile and robust solution for adjusting output speed and torque in various mechanisms and drivetrains. It is engineered to integrate seamlessly with familiar building systems, featuring a base 16 mm center-to-center hole pattern that ensures compatibility and ease of use. The reversible flanges maintain this hole pattern, allowing for flexible configurations.
This gearbox is distinguished by its ability to securely mount a HiTec or Futaba standard servo, or any standard servo, providing a strong anchor point without the need for the power and torque of a motor. It includes a 16 tooth #25 series Ninja Star sprocket and a Servo Nub, making it ideal for applications requiring precise control with a standard 6 mm output shaft. The design allows for mounting the servo and output shaft on the same side, enhancing its adaptability.
Weighing under 0.5 pounds, the AndyMark PicoBox Servo is compatible with servos featuring a 24 Tooth C1 Spline, although it does not include a servo, allowing users to select the appropriate one for their specific needs. The servo cavity dimensions are 1.6 inches tall by 0.8 inches wide, accommodating a range of servo models.
