The AndyMark PicoBox MEO is a meticulously engineered gearbox tailored for FIRST Tech Challenge teams, offering a robust and adaptable solution for fine-tuning the output speed and torque of various mechanisms and drivetrains. This gearbox is designed to integrate seamlessly with other building systems familiar to these teams, utilizing a base 16 mm center-to-center hole pattern. The reversible flanges maintain this pattern, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

This single reduction, single motor input gearbox employs durable steel 32DP gears and is specifically designed to accommodate one NeveRest 3.7 motor. It features a sturdy steel 6 mm D shaft for output, ensuring reliable performance. The PicoBox MEO, named after Mid Earth Orbit, is part of the NeveRest Orbital series of gearmotors, reflecting its precision and reliability in operation.

For optimal performance and longevity, it is essential to apply grease to the gearbox. A recommended practice is to operate the gearbox continuously for 30 minutes without grease to allow the gear teeth to wear in, followed by regular greasing to maintain smooth operation.
