The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Hex Shaft, StageA 3 – 06.86:1 Ratio 1.14:1, StageB 3 – 18.71:1 Ratio 1.14:1 represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox is designed with an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for smooth and efficient operation. It accommodates motor inputs from two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in performance.
The gearbox features a robust design with a 1/8″ diameter shoulder screw and AMPCO 18 Bronze dog gear material, enhancing strength and durability. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, providing a high first stage reduction of 85:15. Users have the ability to independently select high and low ratios, allowing for tailored performance adjustments. The gearbox also supports various encoder options, including the US Digital E4T, and features aggressive weight reduction for optimized efficiency.
The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, utilizing a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder for reliable shifting even under dynamic conditions such as acceleration or deceleration. The gearbox is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, with cluster gears that have identical features on both sides, ensuring correct orientation. An optional third stage offers an additional C ratio choice, further enhancing its versatility.
