The AndyMark Black Flat Urethane Track Timing Belt Tread is an endless track drive belt engineered as a component for mobile robots. It is constructed from a steel-reinforced urethane timing belt, featuring a flat, black urethane coating that ensures high traction. The belt is designed with a central “V” to facilitate accurate tracking on a grooved pulley. This product is compatible with the Raptor Track Drive Module and Rhino Track Drive Module, and there are specially designed pulleys available to drive this belt effectively.

The belt’s urethane tread is subject to potential de-lamination during regular use, which involves the tread separating from the timing belt. In such cases, it is recommended to keep the belt mounted on the drive pulley mechanism while cleaning the affected surfaces thoroughly. After cleaning, a rubber-to-rubber adhesive, such as super glue, should be applied to bond the tread back to the urethane timing belt material. Maintaining pressure on the glued area by moving it over an end pulley is advised to ensure proper adhesion, with a curing time of approximately 20-30 minutes.
