The AndyMark 4in. Performance Wheel XL 1.125in. Bearing Bore is a robust and durable wheel crafted from solid 6061 aluminum, renowned for its resilience in competitive robotics environments. This wheel has been a staple in the FIRST Robotics Competition, offering a design that is 50% wider than standard 4-inch performance wheels, thereby enhancing traction significantly. It is engineered to accommodate 1.125-inch outer diameter flanged bearings and is compatible with motion hardware featuring a 1.875-inch 6-hole bolt circle, common in AndyMark and other competitive robotics products.
This wheel is versatile in its mounting options, allowing for attachment to the rear side using a 250 Sprocket and Pulley Spacer, or to the front with a 550 Sprocket Spacer. It is important to note that the wheel does not come with tread material, which must be attached using rivets. The wheel’s design intentionally lacks pre-drilled holes on the rim, providing teams the flexibility to install rivets as needed. AndyMark advises the use of steel rivets with specific dimensions for optimal performance.
