The AndyMark 4in. BB Mecanum Wheel 0.5in. Hex Bore Full Set is a lightweight and slim wheel designed for smooth motion, thanks to the ball bearings within each roller. This wheel is particularly optimized for use with an FTC Chassis, such as the MecanAM Chassis. The set includes two ‘right’ wheels and two ‘left’ wheels, which are essential for the proper functioning of a mecanum drive system. The orientation of the rollers determines whether a wheel is ‘right’ or ‘left’, and they must be configured in an ‘X’ pattern when viewed from above to ensure optimal performance.

The wheels are constructed with a polycarbonate core and feature black TPU rubber rollers with a durometer rating of 60A. Each wheel is assembled by sandwiching 12 rubber rollers between two steel plates, which are secured by bolting the rollers in place. The wheels are compatible with various bore sizes, including Nub Bore, 3/8 in. Hex, and 1/2 in. Hex, making them versatile for different attachment methods to shafts and motors.

This full set is ideal for light-duty applications, such as FTC robots or non-drive train FRC items like an intake. The wheels are designed to handle a weight capacity of 40 lbs per set of four, making them suitable for specific robotic applications. The assembly includes essential components such as BB Mecanum Plates, a hub, individual wheel rollers, axle bearings, brass inner sleeves, Nylock nuts, and SHCS screws.
