As the successor model to the previous AT-LP3, this version brings several beneficial upgrades. It features wireless compatibility with the high-quality Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio and Qualcomm aptX audio codecs. The inclusion of the AT-VM95C cartridge ensures compatibility with any replacement stylus from Audio-Technica’s VM95 Series. Additionally, the turntable is equipped with detachable RCA output cables, providing enhanced flexibility.

The external AC adapter is a notable improvement, handling the AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis. This design choice effectively reduces noise in the signal chain, contributing to a cleaner and more pristine audio experience.
