The Waveshare Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Module for Jetson Nano, Stable 5V Power Output (US) provides a seamless power solution for the Jetson Nano, ensuring continuous operation through either direct power connection or backup batteries. It features a stable 5V output and a real-time OLED monitor for efficient power management.
This module is designed specifically for the Jetson Nano Developer Kit, with compatible mounting holes and communication via an I2C bus through a 6-pin cable. It includes a 0.91-inch OLED display that provides real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity. This feature allows users to manage power effectively and prevent data loss by enabling proper file saving and system shutdown when voltage levels are low.
The UPS module incorporates multiple battery protection circuits, including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and reverse protection, ensuring a safe and stable power supply. It supports up to four 18650 batteries and includes an onboard 5V regulator capable of delivering up to 2.5A continuous output current. The module automatically switches to battery output if the external power supply becomes unavailable, maintaining uninterrupted system operation.
Note: Li-ion and Li-po batteries are unstable and may cause fire or injury if not properly handled. Ensure compatibility with the expansion board, use batteries from reputable manufacturers, and replace them when they reach their maximum cycle life or after two years of use. Keep batteries away from flammable materials and children to prevent accidents.
