The Phidgets 30V 50A Brushless DC Motor Phidget is a sophisticated brushless DC motor driver designed for high-performance applications. It operates with an 8-30V DC supply input and is capable of delivering up to 50 amps of continuous current, with a peak capacity of 75 amps to a single brushless DC motor. This device requires Hall-effect feedback for optimal functionality.

This motor driver offers three distinct operating modes: BLDC Motor, Position Controller, and Velocity Controller. The Position and Velocity Controller modes leverage the built-in encoder channel or Hall-effect sensor data to provide rapid and precise closed-loop control. Users can manually control the motor in BLDC Motor mode, allowing for the creation of custom control loops. Comprehensive guides and prebuilt tuning software are accessible through the Phidget Control Panel on Windows, facilitating ease of use.

The device is equipped with numerous safety features, including an E-Stop circuit, thermal protection, over-current protection, advanced failsafe modes, supply voltage monitoring, and polarity protection.
