The Atlas Scientific Industrial pH Probe – No Temp – 3 Meters (9.8′) SMA is engineered for commercial and industrial pH monitoring applications where an integrated temperature sensor is not necessary. The absence of a temperature sensor allows for a more cost-effective solution, as many applications either utilize an external temperature sensor or do not require temperature compensation. While temperature compensation can enhance pH accuracy, the correction is typically minimal, often 0.1 pH units or less.

Constructed from Delrin, a robust and chemically resistant thermoplastic, the probe is designed to withstand harsh environments. It features a Teflon junction, which is particularly advantageous in wine production, as it prevents the formation of tartrate crystals. This Teflon junction also makes the probe suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. Unlike traditional pH probes that have a glass bulb at the tip, this probe is equipped with a flat sensing area, eliminating the risk of glass breakage in the liquid being measured.

The probe is equipped with a double junction and utilizes silver chloride. It is capable of reading a pH range from 0 to 14 with a high resolution and accuracy. The probe offers a rapid response time and can operate within a wide temperature range. It is designed to withstand significant pressure and depth, making it versatile for various industrial applications. The probe is available with an SMA connector and comes with a cable length of 3 meters (9.8 feet). It requires recalibration approximately once a year and has a life expectancy of over four years.
