The USB AVRISP CH, AVR Programmer, Compatible w/ AT AVRISP from Atmel, Supports AVR Studio 4/5/6/7 is a sophisticated programming tool designed for high-speed programming of AVR microcontrollers. It utilizes the same microcontroller unit and core circuit as the AT AVRISP, ensuring ease of use, stability, and reliability. The device is based on Atmel’s official STK500 firmware, allowing it to be recognized as AVRISP/STK500 in AVR Studio, which facilitates efficient programming.
This programmer features a CH340G USB to UART converter, making it compatible with most popular operating systems, including Windows 10. It supports a frequency output range of 0 to 3.6864MHz, configurable via software, and connects to the target board through various cable options, depending on the connector type present on the board.
The USB AVRISP CH supports a wide range of AVR microcontrollers with ISP programming options, including AT86RF401, AT89S51, and AT89S52. It is capable of programming FLASH ROM, EEPROM, Fuses, and Lock Bit at high speeds, taking only 5.5 seconds to program a 45K file with verification. The device connects to a PC using a quasi-USB interface, allowing multiple programmers to be connected simultaneously.
Note: The programmer is powered via USB but does not supply power to the target board, which requires an external power source.
