The AndyMark PicoBox Solo is a specialized gearbox designed for FIRST Tech Challenge teams, offering a robust and adaptable solution for adjusting the output speed and torque of various robotic mechanisms. It is engineered to integrate seamlessly with other building systems familiar to these teams, utilizing a base 16 mm center-to-center hole pattern for compatibility. The reversible flanges maintain this pattern, ensuring flexibility in design and assembly.

This gearbox is particularly suited for chain-driven mechanisms, featuring a 16-tooth #25 series Ninja Star sprocket and a 6 mm bearing to support the end of a NeveRest Classic motor shaft. It is ideal for use in robotic applications such as arms, intakes, and elevators, providing a reliable mounting solution. However, it is important to note that the PicoBox Solo is not compatible with the NeveRest Motor Only or the NeveRest Orbital line, as it requires the NeveRest Classic gearbox for motor input.

The PicoBox Solo accommodates either the NeveRest Classic 40 or NeveRest Classic 60 motors, accepting only one motor at a time. This makes it a versatile choice for teams looking to enhance their robot’s performance through precise control of speed and torque.
