The AndyMark EVO Shifter am14u Family Hex Shaft, StageA 2 Stage – 07.56:1 Ratio, StageB 2 Stage – 16.37:1 Ratio represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox is designed with an improved 4-tooth dog shifting method, allowing for seamless transitions between speeds. It accommodates two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in output shaft selection. The gearbox is shipped assembled, though motors are not installed.

Significant enhancements have been incorporated into the EVO Shifter, including a robust 1/8″ diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear made from AMPCO 18 Bronze, which provides added lubricity for smoother shifting. The shift block assembly has been strengthened with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, facilitating a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users can independently select high and low ratios, and the gearbox supports various encoder options, enhancing its adaptability.

The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, powered by a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder, enabling shifts during acceleration, pushing, or deceleration. The gearbox is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, with cluster gears featuring identical characteristics on both sides. It can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2″x1″ box tube frame, providing versatility in application.
