The AndyMark EVO Shifter Short Keyed Shaft, StageA 2 Stage – 06.00:1 Ratio, StageB 2 Stage – 22.67:1 Ratio represents a significant advancement in shifting transmission gearboxes. This two-speed, shift-on-the-fly gearbox incorporates a refined 4-tooth dog shifting mechanism, allowing for seamless transitions between gears. It is compatible with two CIM or NEO motors and can be configured with either two or three interior stages, offering flexibility in output shaft selection. The gearbox is delivered assembled, though motors are not pre-installed.
Notable improvements in this model include a robust 1/8″ diameter shoulder screw and a dog gear crafted from AMPCO 18 Bronze, which enhances strength and lubricity. The shift block assembly has been fortified with a larger bearing and threaded steel housing. The input stage utilizes 32 DP gears and a 15-tooth pinion gear, facilitating a high 85:15 first stage reduction. Users can independently select high and low ratios, with the option to swap ratios as needed. The gearbox also supports various encoder options, including the US Digital E4T.
The EVO Shifter employs a pneumatic shift method, powered by a spring-extend pneumatic cylinder, enabling shifts during acceleration, pushing, or deceleration. The gearbox features aggressive weight reduction, with machined gears and plates, and is designed for easy assembly and disassembly. It can be mounted to an AM14U family chassis or a 2″x1″ box tube frame using existing mounting plate holes.
Note: Ensure proper greasing and break-in procedures are followed for optimal performance and longevity.
