The AndyMark CIMple Box V2 Single Stage Gearbox CIM Pinion, Short & Hex Shaft is a robust and reliable single-stage gearbox designed for efficient power transmission. It offers a gear reduction ratio of 4.67:1 and is delivered in kit form, requiring assembly. This gearbox is compatible with up to two motors and includes all necessary hardware for installation. Users can choose between pinions suitable for NEO/CIM style motors or Falcon 500 motors, providing flexibility in motor selection.
The V2 version introduces enhanced mounting options with a 1-inch pitch for #10 screws, allowing for versatile installation on both the mounting flanges and the gearbox face. The mounting flanges can be oriented in either direction according to user preference, and there are five different shaft options available to suit various applications. The gearbox utilizes a standard weight-relieved 56T gear and supports both CIM style and Falcon 500 inputs directly from the box.
For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to use grease, specifically the red tacky grease, to ensure smooth operation. A ‘run-in’ period of 30 minutes without grease is advised to allow the gear teeth to wear in, after which regular greasing is necessary to maintain efficiency.
