The AndyMark CIMple Box V2 Single Stage Gearbox CIM Pinion, Long & Key Shaft is a robust and reliable gearbox designed for single-stage, single reduction applications, offering a gear reduction ratio of 4.67:1. This gearbox is provided in kit form, requiring assembly, and is compatible with up to two motors. Users can choose between pinions suitable for either NEO/CIM style motors or Falcon 500 motors, providing flexibility in motor selection.
The V2 version of this gearbox introduces enhanced mounting options, featuring a 1-inch pitch for #10 screws on both the mounting flanges and the gearbox face. The mounting flanges can be oriented in either direction, allowing for user customization. Additionally, there are five different shaft options available to accommodate various application needs. The gearbox utilizes a standard weight-relieved 56T gear and offers options for either CIM style or Falcon 500 inputs.
For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to use grease, specifically the red tacky grease, during operation. A ‘run-in’ period of continuous operation without grease for 30 minutes is advised to ensure smooth gear operation, followed by regular greasing of the gear teeth. This gearbox is constructed from durable materials including steel, glass-filled nylon, and aluminum, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting performance.
