The brass nut can be secured in a predrilled hole using a set screw, ensuring stability and ease of replacement when worn. Alternatively, the leadscrew can be inserted into a drilled and tapped hole in the part to be moved.
The assembly features a backlash nut and lock, allowing for controlled backlash on the leadscrew. The leadscrew is designed with a metric thread pitch of 6.3 x 1 mm, and the handwheel is marked with 100 graduations, each representing 0.01 mm. This precision allows for accurate adjustments, with one full rotation of the handwheel moving the leadscrew by 1 mm. The collar is easily attached to the fixed portion of a design with a single screw, which is included in the package.
