The Sherline Stepper Motor Spindle Mount Kit is designed to facilitate the attachment of a stepper motor to any Sherline standard or industrial headstock spindle that accommodates a motor mounting bracket. This kit provides a custom bracket that supports the motor, along with standoffs that connect to the mounting bracket, ensuring a secure and stable setup.

Included in the kit are essential components such as a 15-tooth motor pulley, a 30-tooth spindle pulley, a toothed drive belt, and necessary mounting hardware. These components work together to enable the stepper motor to drive the headstock, offering an alternative to the conventional DC spindle motor. This setup allows for precise control over the spindle’s rotation, making it suitable for indexing the headstock during machine work or for turning stock.

The kit does not include the headstock or the stepper motor, which must be acquired separately. The system is capable of achieving a maximum RPM of 225 and a minimum RPM range of 6 to 10, providing flexibility for various machining tasks.
