The Atlas Scientific 3/8″ Pre-Filter is designed to be used in conjunction with the Atlas Scientific 3/8 flow meter. It serves as a protective measure to ensure that particulate matter does not interfere with the accurate functioning of the flow meter. The pre-filter is essential for preventing debris from jamming the blades of the rotating turbine within the flow meter. While a jammed turbine blade will not cause damage to the flow meter, it will impede the ability to obtain precise flow readings until the obstruction is cleared.

Constructed with an 80 mesh stainless steel filter, this pre-filter effectively screens out particles, ensuring the smooth operation of the flow meter. It is equipped with a 3/8 Female NPT input and output, making it compatible with standard fittings. The pre-filter is capable of withstanding a maximum pressure of 861 kPa (120 PSI) and can operate at temperatures up to 100C (212F).
