The ServoCity 2:1 Ratio Bevel Gear Set (6mm D-Bore Pinion Gear) features a 14-tooth pinion gear designed to attach to a 6mm D-shaft, paired with a 28-tooth hub gear that mounts to a 16mm pattern hub. This configuration achieves a 2:1 gear ratio, typically utilized for gear reduction, where the smaller gear drives the larger one, enhancing torque. Alternatively, it can be employed for a 2:1 overdrive to prioritize speed over torque. The 28-tooth gear accommodates a hub with a maximum diameter of 32mm. Sonic Hubs offer flexibility by allowing mounting on the gear’s backside, while a Hyper Hub is recommended for use on the gear’s face when employing a 12mm REX shaft as an output.
